Laura Bugatti is Assistant Professor in Comparative Law at the University of Brescia – UNIBS (Italy) and Coordinator of Legal Clinics I at UNIBS (live client model – multidisciplinary clinic). She holds a PhD in Comparative Law from the University of Milan (Italy). Since 2012, she has been a supervisor at UNIBS Legal Clinic in the civil law sector, with a focus on consumer law. From 2022 she ha served as legal expert in consumer law for the Brescia Chambre of Commerce. Her main fields of research are: professional regulation - with a particular focus on legal profession; legal education; legal ethics; LGBT+ inclusion and non-discrimination, European Private Law. She has published several articles on these topics and regularly participates as a selected speaker at national and international conferences. She has coordinated or participated in various research projects, both at nationally and internationally.
